THE NEPTUNE SYSTEM

In May 2005 Capp-Fire Marketing attended a major demonstration of the Neptune and Ironman systems. Held on the Memorial Day weekend the demonstration was taped by CNN.

The Neptune System is an integrated modular pumping system capable of pumping 5,000 gpm at 150 psi. Neptune employs two (2) portable, floating 2500 gpm satellite pumps that supply water to the main pump from distances up to 150’ ft with a vertical lift of 50’ Provides tremendously improved access to more water sources when compared to standard suction lift pumps.

While Neptune System is designed to function seamlessly as a unit, the main pump and the satellite pumps are driven by separate engines. They therefore can be operated independently allowing the Neptune to operate in a number of different scenarios. For instance the satellite pumps could supply water to other devices or apparatus other than the Neptune and/or the main pump could operate independently as a booster or relay station.

In New Jersey we set one of the Neptune system land based with the satellite pumps being dropped into a local river.

The 8” supply lines then go up to the suction side of the Neptune pumping system and then discharge 5,000 gpm through the 12” discharge located on the other side of the unit.

New Jersey has also purchased upwards of 2 miles of 12” Super Aqueduct hose mounted on our deployment trailer and truck

For this demonstration they ran the 12” hose out to a manifold and they took two (2) 5” hose lines to our Gladiator self educting nozzles that were flowing 1,000 gpm ea. that were mounted on a pickup truck that they call their Quick Attack units.
